TAUNTON Town have been denied the chance to match a club-record unbeaten run due to the postponement of this afternoon's match at Winchester City.
Heavy rain yesterday and last night has caused a waterlogged pitch in Hampshire, meaning the Peacocks will go into next weekend's crunch game at Salisbury having not played since February 24.
Second-placed Salisbury can cut Taunton's lead at the top to eight points with a win at third-placed Evesham United later, while the Peacocks are left to rue another afternoon off.
Another game off? Shambles!

Avoiding defeat next weekend will stretch Town's unbeaten run to 23 matches - pick up this week's County Gazette for a special feature on the side who set that record under Russell Musker in 1999/2000.
