Yeovil Town v Walsall: Glovers have an "even chance"

YEOVIL Town entertain Walsall tomorrow night at Huish Park in the Coca-Cola League One and Glovers' boss Terry Skiverton will be hoping to see his side bounce back to winning ways.

The Glovers fell to a disappointing 1-0 defeat at Gillingham last Tuesday which saw Yeovil perform well below par and had the added blow of seeing midfielder JP Kalala sent-off for a second bookable offence.

Skiverton will be hoping for a much better performance tomorrow night, but has told supporters that they should remember that the likes of Gillingham and Walsall are "big clubs" with Championship experience in recent years.

Yeovil Town manager Terry Skiverton has said that his side are coming up against big clubs in League One, even when they come up against less fashionable sides such as last Tuesday's team Gillingham or next Tuesday's opponents Walsall.

Skiverton, speaking to the BBC, said: "We're a small club and we're coming to places like Gillingham who have been in the Championship and have got massive facilities here.

"They are another one of these clubs that have been a lot bigger in the past, but have fallen down by the wayside.

"Mark Stimson has done a fantastic job in getting them back up into League One. We're a small club compared to Gillingham."

Skiverton added: "But for me, these are the clubs where we've got an even chance against, or just slightly under an even chance.

"Walsall is another club like that. I don't call them winnable games. They are games where we will still go out and try and get three points against, but they are still hard games for Yeovil Town."
