THE County Gazette is proud to be support It’s Childsplay – a new event to raise thousands of pounds for the Children’s Hospice South-West.
The charity provides free respite care for children with life limiting illnesses and their families at Little Bridge House, North Devon, and Charlton Farm, North Somerset.
Only 5% of the daily running cost is met from public funds and the charity needs £6million a year to keep going.
David Montgomery, of organisers Taunton Vale Rotary Club, said: “Anyone and everyone can enter – come along and help the Children’s Hospice South-West.”
For an inspirational free DVD about the work of the hospice, email childsplay@colourtone.co.uk
Everyone is invited to join the fun on May 4, 2008.
