Obridge

THIS photo depicts a tranquil scene in Taunton, often overlooked for its beauty, according to photographer Chris Philip. He said: It is a view very few people in Taunton will be familiar with, but one which they pass by very often. It is from the Obridge Viaduct looking towards Bathpool and Hankridge. The walk by the river is always tranquil despite the major roads and railway on either side. The area has river life with swans and ducks. Rabbits can be found on the grass and it is a great place to walk your dog or cycle to the shops or leisure facilities at Hankridge. A hidden gem if ever there was one."
