GENEROUS Joshua Lock sold his
own toys at a car boot sale to raise
money for Children in Need.
The seven
year old
pestered his
mum for
odd jobs so
he could
earn pocket
money for
charity and
designed
leaflets on
his computer
asking for
donations to
the car boot
sale.
Josh, who won a Highly
Commended in the Pride of Somerset
Youth Awards, was featured in the
Mercury when he organised a
collecting bucket for Children in Need
and raised £163.79 for the cause.
He now has his sights set on
fundraising for other charities,
including the NSPCC and UNICEF.
Supporting the nomination,
grandmother Marcia Taylor said:
"Watch out Bridgwater because he
has some brilliant ideas to benefit the
local public, as well as raising further
monies for other charities."
