Ryan Inglis performing at the Live and Unsigned competition - he is through to the national final.
SOMERSET singer songwriter Ryan Inglis is through to the national finals of the Live and Unsigned competition.
He was one of three acts to go through from the regional final at Bristol in April, after also progressing through from an earlier round.
He will now take part in the national final in London on June 28.
Ryan, who now lives in Weston-super-Mare, previously lived in Ilminster and Milborne Port and still has plenty of fans and friends in Taunton, Yeovil and Chard - and many fans following performances in the area.
Ryan performs solo in the competition, but is also part of the duo String Theory with Lorna Thomas, and plays with bands Face on a Plate and The Ryan Inglis Band. As a solo artist he defines himself as a "non-genre specific singer/songwriter - each song is different".
Ryan, 26, has been working in the music industry in various ways for the past four years including two years at Weston College studying a BTEC in music technology and a short stint at Star 107.7fm. He won the 'Bath's Got Talent' competition at the end of last year and has performed at the Cardiff International Arena.

The Live and Unsigned national competition is for unsigned bands and singers to compete live; acts taking part are encouraged to do their own thing, be individuals, original, and perform their own genre and style. The aim is to find potential recording artists, with the national final being held in London.
The competition has attracted 10,000 singers and bands and Ryan competes in the 18plus section. The national winner gets a recording and management contract and £20,000 to release a single.
