BREWER VIV of Bishop's Lydeard and formerly of Crowcombe, past Chairman of the former West Somerset District Council representing Crowcombe and Stogumber Parishes, former Postmaster of Crowcombe and a Stalwart of Somerset County Cricket Club. Passed peacefully away at Musgrove Park Hospital on 22nd July 2019, aged 85 years. Husband to the late Mary and Anita, much loved Dad to Chris, Chrissy and Jayne, a special Grandad to Luke, Laura, Richard and the late Matthew, brother to Gill and Geoff and a dear friend to many, Viv will be greatly missed. A service of celebration for Viv's life will take place at Taunton Deane Crematorium on Monday 5th August at 12noon followed by a reception at Somerset County Cricket Club (a touch of Somerset Cricket clothing would be appreciated). No flowers please but donations if desired for Somerset County Cricket Club and the British Heart Foundation (Cqs TFS Donation a/c) may be sent c/o Taunton Funeral Service, 55 Bridge Street, Taunton, TA1 1TP.
