THORNE, Ethel May, (May) of Greenway, Bishops Lydeard, passed away peacefully at Musgrove Park Hospital, on the 1st June 2021, aged 94 years. May will be dearly missed by her loving children Christopher, Ann, Sally, Alison and Ashley, her grandchildren, her great grandchildren, along with all her other family and many friends. Due to current restrictions a private family funeral service will be held for May at Taunton Deane Crematroium at 11:30am, Wednesday the 16th June 2021. For those unable to attend the service a live webcast will be available, please contact the funeral Director for details. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of May if desired for Love Musgrove and Sure may be left online through the Quantock Funeral Services website or forwarded to: Quantock Funeral Services 69 Staplegrove Road, Taunton. I cared for may for many years before sadly moving onto another company. She will be sadly missed. She made me smile every time i saw her and she will always have a special place in my heart. Miss and love you May RIP xxx

So sorry to hear about May. I repaired her wheelchairs for several years and she was such a lovely lady. If I wasn't visiting her, I would often see her sat in her front room window or on her porch on a warm and sunny day as I drove past. RIP May, and thank you for your lovely welcome whenever I called. xx ✝
