Somerset County Council District of West Somerset and Taunton Parish of Churchstanton Temporary Prohibition of Vehicles
Notice is hereby given that on the 7th day of February 2020 Somerset County Council made the above Order in exercise of its powers in the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as previously advertised on the 30th January 2020 to introduce a temporary prohibition of vehicles in the road specified in the Schedule to this Order. The Order comes into effect on the 13th day of February 2020 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The restrictions will apply when indicated by traffic signs.

Temporary Prohibition of Vehicles
Willand Road, Churchstanton - From its junction with Stapley, southwards to its junction with Munty Lane, for 1130 metres.The proposed date of the closure is 17th day of February 2020 for 4 days. This Order will enable Complete Utilities (on behalf of Gigaclear) to carry out defect rectifications in this road.

a) because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road or
b) because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the road, which is not attributable to such works
