The County of Dorset (Prohibition of Driving) (St Alban Street, Weymouth) Order 2020
Dorset Council in exercise of its powers Section 1 and 2, and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Office of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to that Act hereby makes the following Order
The effect of the Order will beto continue in force indefinitely a prohibition of driving between 10.30am and 5.30pm in the following lengths of St Alban Street in Weymouth:
 From its junction with Maiden Street to its junction with East Street

 From its junction with East Street to its junction with Esplanade

Relevant exemptions will apply where appropriate and as necessary in accordance with the provisions of the Order.
(This order has the effect of making The Dorset Council (Weymouth St Alban Street) Experimental Order 2019, permanent). The Order will come into effect on 1 May 2020.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act, or that a requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of the Order, make application for this purpose to the High Court. Temporary Closure of Blagdon Hill, Winterbourne St Martin
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along BLAGDON HILL, WINTERBOURNE ST MARTIN between the access road to Ballarat Farm and Hardyes Monument Industrial Park, a distance of approximately 90 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 27 April 2020 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 19 June 2020.
This Order will enable National Grid Company, safe access to lay 12 ducts across road and construct two bell mouths for haul road crossing.
