The Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Scotland Regulations 2017
Notice under Regulation 21
The proposed development to Land to the west of West Auchenlongford, Sorn, KA5 6JF, is subject to assessment under the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Scotland) Regulations 2017.
Notice is hereby given that an Environmental Impact Assessment Report has been submitted to East Ayrshire Council by Wind Estate (UK) Ltd, Wind Estate (UK) Ltd relating to the planning application in respect of the Development of a wind farm consisting of up to 5 wind turbines with blade tip heights between 134.5 metres to 149.5 metres and associated development notified to you under the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2013 on 28th of July 2020.
Possible decisions relating to the application are:
(i) Approval of the application without conditions;
(ii) Approval of the application with conditions;
(iii) Refusal of the application.
A copy of the environmental impact assessment report, the associated application and other documents submitted with the application can be viewed at
during the period of 30 days beginning with the date of this notice.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation, no paper copies will be available for inspection.
Copies of the EIA Report may be purchased from Green Cat Renewables Ltd, Stobo House, Midlothian Innovation Centre, Roslin EH25 9RE at a cost of £250 (excluding landscape graphics) and £10 on CD.
Should additional environmental information be submitted by the applicant, that information will be publicised by East Ayrshire Council under Regulation 27 of the above Regulations and in a similar manner to the notification given under this notice. Any such publication will include details of how representations in relation to that additional information may be made.
