Temporary Parking Suspension of A356 Dorchester Road, Maiden Newton
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from parking along A356 DORCHESTER ROAD, MAIDEN NEWTON for 75 metres at either side of its junction with Hill View (150metres total). The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 5 April 2021 between 0930 and 1530 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 16 April 2021. This Order will enable Purlieu Property Services, safe access to accommodate temporary traffic signals to allow the build of a flint wall alongside the A356. Temporary Traffic Management Order of Church Road, Preston, Weymouth
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 12 April 2021 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 14 May 2021.
This Order will enable Wessex Water, safe access to replace water main. The effect of this order will be;
[1] To impose temporary parking restriction on Church Road from its junction with Preston Road for a distance of 100 metres.

The County of Dorset (Sheeplands Lane, Sherborne) (One-Way (Part)) Order 2021
Dorset Council has made an Order under Sections 1(1) and (2), 2(1) to (3) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
When the Order comes into operation on 9 April 2021 the effect of the Order will be to formally introduce one way working in a south westerly direction in part of Sheeplands Lane, Sherborne.

Dorset Council (A Byway Open to All Traffic, Batcombe and Leigh at Bailey Drove) Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2021)

The above Order, made on 12 March 2021, if confirmed as made, will modify the definitive map and statement by upgrading part of Footpath 11, Batcombe, adding a byway open to all traffic in Batcombe and upgrading Bridleway 59, Leigh to a Byway Open to All Traffic (one continuous route) at Bailey Drove as follows:
Part of Footpath 11, Batcombe:
(to be renumbered as part of Byway 25, Batcombe)
From its junction with the County Road D20570 south south east of Scotley Farm at ST 61250521 north east along the route known as Bailey Drove to its junction with the unaffected part of Footpath 11 at ST 61310529. Width: 13 metres at ST 61250521 narrowing to 6 metres at ST 61310529.
Byway open to All Traffic. Batcombe:
(to be numbered as part of Byway 25, Batcombe)
From its junction with Footpath 11 at ST 61310529 north east to its junction with the current Bridleway 59, Leigh (proposed Byway 59, Leigh) at the Leigh parish boundary at ST 61410537. Width: 3 metres between ST 61310529 and ST 61410537.
Bridleway 59 Leigh:

From its junction with the proposed Byway 25, Batcombe at the Batcombe parish boundary at ST 61410537, north east, then east north east crossing the River Wriggle at ST 61530548 and continuing east north east to its junction with Wriggle River Lane (D20555) at ST 61710551. Width: 12 metres between ST 61410537 and ST 61530548 widening to 16 metres between ST 61530548 and ST 61710551.

Temporary Traffic Management Order, West Lulworth Area
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14. [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended.
The effect of the Order is:
1. to impose a clearway to prevent waiting or parking on the carriageway of the C8, between a point approximately 25 metres south of the vehicle access to Marley Wood House, Winf rith Newburgh, and the junction of Church Road and West Road, West Lulworth, a distance of approximately 2.75 kilometres, and
2. to impose a tow-away scheme to remove any vehicle parked on the highway verge within the existing system of double yellow lines in place between Daggers Gate, West Lulworth and Church Road/ West Road, West Lulworth, a distance of approximately 1.5 kilometres.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
The Order will prevent illegal parking along the carriageway and / or verge to ensure access is maintained for the safety of highway users. It will come into operation on Monday 12 April 2021 and will remain in force for 18 months. However, it is anticipated that the restrictions will remain in place until Monday 1 November 2021.

Temporary Closure of Dorchester Hill, Blandford St Mary
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Dorchester Hill, Blandford St Mary as listed: [i] Phase 1 will close Dorchester Hill between Beckett Close and Esme Avenue a distance of approximately 100 metres; [ii] Phase 2 will close Dorchester Hill between Beckett Close and Fair Mile Road a distance of approximately 70 metres. Both sections will be closed separately and different diversion routes will be used to navigate the closed sections. The closures have been requested to allow Ford Civil Engineering to install a ducting and a Street lighting cable. It will come into operation on 19 April 2021 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 30 April 2021.
