Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Broomyland Hill in the parish of Spaxton for a distance of 493 metres - 10th to 14th May 2021 Broomyland Road in the parish of Over Stowey and Spaxton for a distance of 915 metres -10th to 14th May 2021

Plainsfield Lane in the parish of Over Stowey

for a distance of 391 metres - 10th to 14th May 2021

Parsons Lane in the parishes of Over Stowey and Spaxton for a distance of 233 metres -10th to 14th May 2021

Lane Passing Through Aisholt to Lower Aisholt in the parish of Spaxton for a distance of 755 metres - 17th - 21st May 2021 Lane Through Lower Aisholt in the parish of Spaxton for a distance of 625 metres - 17th -21st May 2021

Beech Tree Hill in the parish of Spaxton for a distance of 935 metres - 17th - 21st May 2021 Road Through Lower Merridge in the parish of Bishops Lydeard and Spaxton for a distance of 1075 metres - 17th - 21st May 2021 Bishpool Lane in the parish of Bishops Lydeard for a distance of 1012 metres -17th-21st May 2021

This Order will enable BT Openreach to carry out tree trimming works and fibre cabling for new customer connections. These works are part of phased works and only one road will be closed at a time.

The Order becomes effective on 4th May 2021 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 10th May 2021 until 21st May 2021 between the hours of (09:30 -15:30) for a total of 12 days. Please visit
