Footpaths T32/2A and T 32/4 in the Parish of West Monkton (Temporary Closure of Footpaths) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that on 30th day of July 2021 Somerset County Council made the above order, in exercise of the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as previously advertised on the 22nd day of July 2021, to introduce a temporary prohibition of vehicles and people on the footpaths as specified in Schedule 1 to this Order.
The Order comes into effect on the 5th day of August 2021 and will remain in force for six months.
The prohibitions are expected to be implemented on 9th day of August 2021 for a period of six months and the restrictions will only apply when indicated by traffic signs.

Temporary Closure of Footpaths and Bridleways
From proceeding along Footpath T 32/2A from a point approximately 13 metres south of the junction with Toneway for a distance of 430 metres in a north then westerly direction. From proceeding along Footpath T 32/4 from the junction with Bridgwater Road, Taunton in an easterly direction for a distance of approximately 43 metres.
Statement of reasons for making the Order
a) because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road
b) because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the road, which is not attributable to such works
c) the date on which the order would come into force and its maximum duration
