Temporary Closure of Quaking House Lane
Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Quaking House Lane - from the junction with Milverton Road Northwards for its entirety. A total distance of 1986 metres.
This Order will enable Gigaclearto carry out works to lay fibre optic cable.
The Order becomes effective on 23rd September 2021 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 27th September 2021 until 30th September 2021 between the hours of (07:00 -17:00) for a total of 4 days.
