Temporary Closure of St Andrews Road, Priorswood Road, Clifton Terrace, Kingston Road, Taunton
Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along PHASED WORKS: Priorswood Road from the junction with Malvern Terrace westwards for 90 metres. St Andrews Road from the junction with Cheddon Road westwards for 134 metres; Clifton Terrace from the junction with Priorswood Road and St Andrews Road southwards for 148 metres and 41 metres (both spurs) for a total of 189 metres; and Kingston Road from the junction with St Andrews Road northwards for a total of 80 metres. A total distance of 493 metres.
This Order will enable Somerset County Council to carry out works to undertake carriage resurfacing.
The Order becomes effective on 9th September 2021 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 13th September 2021 and last until 24th September 2021 between the hours of (18:00 - 06:00) for a total of 11 nights.
