Temporary Closure of Broadlands Rise, Taunton
Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Broadlands Rise - from the junction with Broadlands Way, southwards for a total distance of 40 metres. This Order will enable Jurassic Fibre to carry out overlay works. The Order becomes effective on 18th November 2021 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 24th November 2021 until 26th November 2021 between the hours of (08:00 -17:00) for a total of 3 days.
There is no alternative route for this closure. The works promoter will contact residents and business directly to discuss access arrangements.
