District of Somerset West and Taunton Temporary Closure of South Street, Taunton
Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along South Street - from the junction with Trevor Smith Place, south eastwards for a distance of 20 metres. This Order will enable Jurassic Fibre to carry out core drill and overlay works. The Order becomes effective on 6th January 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 9th January 2022 until 9th January 2022 between the hours of (08:00 -17:00) for a total of 9 hours.
