Temporary Closure of Fitzhead Road
Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Fitzhead Road - from 115 metres south of the junction with Church Road, southwards for a total distance of 100 metres. This Order will enable Sunbelt Rentals to carry out works on an overhead structure on behalf of BT Openreach. The Order becomes effective on 30th December 2021 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 7th January 2022 and last until 7th January 2022 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 6 hours.
