GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 500507 CHARINGWORTH VILLAGE TO REDLANDS (BLOCKLEY AND EBRINGTON PARISHES) COTSWOLD DISTRICT Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of 500507 Charingworth Village to Redlands from outside the property known as Magpie Cottage to outside the property known as Hoarston Farm for a distance of approximately 640 metres. The reason for the closure is to lay new telecommunication equipment.

NOTICE OF MAKING OF A PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 WILDLIFE AND

COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (PUBLIC FOOTPATH HRW 2) (PARISH OF WYCKRISSINGTON) AND (PUBLIC FOOTPATH HMA 4) (PARISH OF MAUGERSBURY) DIVERSION ORDER 2022 The above Order made on 6th January 2022 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, if confirmed, will divert the lengths of Public Footpath described in Part 1 of the Schedule hereto to a line described in Part 2. A copy of the Order and map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Gloucestershire County Council, Shire Hall, Westgate Street, Gloucester, GL1 2TG and Cotswold District Council, Trinity Road, Cirencester, Glos, GL71PX. Copies of the Order and Order Map may be obtained free of charge (please quote reference HMA/4/TH). Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the Principal Public Rights of Way Officer, Gloucestershire County Council, Shire Hall, Westgate Street, Gloucester, GL1 2TG not later than 17th February 2022. Please state the grounds on which they are made. (Please quote reference HMA/4/TH). If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Gloucestershire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations and objections that have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order. In submitting an objection it should be noted that personal data and correspondence relating to any objection will be passed to Gloucestershire County Council in order that they can contact you directly to address the issues raised. If any person does not wish personal data to be forwarded to the Council they should state why when submitting the objection and the Secretary of State will copy the representations to the Council with the name and address removed and if there is to be a public inquiry the representations will be seen by the Inspector who may give them less weight as a result. SCHEDULE

PART1 Description of paths to be extinguished. That length of footpath HRW 2 that runs from a point at OSGR SP1860/2265 southeast of Heath Hill Farm in a westerly then a northerly direction for 357 metres to a point at OSGR SP1857/2299 and of undefined width. That length of footpath HMA 4 that runs from a point at OSGR SP1857/2299 northeast of Heath Hill Farm in a northerly then a north easterly direction for 702 metres to a point at OSGR SP1876/2362 and of undefined width.

PART 2 Description of new path. A length of footpath that runs from OSGR SP1860/2265 in a north north easterly direction for 313 metres to a point at OSGR SP1877/2290 with a width of 3 metres. A length of footpath that runs from OSGR SP1877/2290 in a north easterly then a north westerly direction for 1,054 metres to a point at OSGR SP1876/2362 with a width of 3 metres.

Please Note: The order is made in the interests of the landowner and will move the footpaths away from the immediate vicinity of land used for breeding thoroughbred racehorses.

junction with Chapel Street to its junction with Oxleaze Farm
