Temporary Closure of Wood Street and Yarde Place, Taunton
Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Wood Street - from the junction with Bridge Street to the junction with Yarde Place a distance of 53 metres -7 February 2022 - 10 February 2022; and Yarde Place - from the junction with Wood Street, south eastwards for a distance of 132 metres - 7 February 2022 - 11 February 2022. A total distance of 185 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out mains repair and lining works. The Order becomes effective on 3 February 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 7th February 2022 and last until 11th February 2022 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
