Temporary Closure of Comeytrowe Lane

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Comeytrowe Lane - from the junction with Galmington Road, south westwards for a total distance of 280 metres. This Order will enable Jurassic Fibre Ltd to carry out trenching work.
The Order becomes effective on 14th April 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 19th April 2022 and last until 21st April 2022 between the hours of 08:00 -17:00 for a total of 3 days.

b) because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the road, which is not attributable to such works.
