The M5 Motorway (Junction 1 And Junction 2) (Slip Roads) (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company No. 9346363) intends to make an Order on the M5 Motorway, in the Metropolitan Boroughs of Sandwell and Dudley, to allow sign installation work to be carried out.
The effect of the Order will be to close, at different times -
a) the entry slip road leading to the southbound carriageway of the M5 at Junction 1;
b) the entry slip road leading to the southbound carriageway of the M5 at Junction 2; and
c) the entry slip road leading to the northbound carriageway of the M5 at Junction 2.
The work will be carried out overnight on weeknights only between 20:00 hours and 06:00 hours and is expected to start on Monday 16 May 2022 and continue for four weeks. The Order will come into force on 13 May 2022. Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority, ambulance or traffic officer purposes, and vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the closures.
