Notice Of Confirmation Of Certification Of Order
The Sedgemoor District Council (Footpath Bw33/4 (In Part) In The Parish
Of Thurloxton) Public Path Diversion Order 2022

On the 5th April 2022 the Sedgemoor District Council certified that the alternative route in respect of the above-named Diversion order had been satisfactorily created. Therefore, the order came into operation on the 5th April 2022. The effect of the order, as confirmed, is to divert the public footpath, at St Giles Church in the parish of Thurloxton, running from point A (Nat Grid Map Ref: 327493,130432) in a generally north north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 36 metres to the fence line at point B (Nat Grid Map Ref:327506,130469). Then continuing in a north north easterly direction across the field for a further distance of approximately 82 metres to point C (Nat Grid Map Ref:327541,130539) and create an alternative footpath to a line running from the aforementioned point A and running in an east north easterly direction then continuing in a generally north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 40 metres, to the gate in the fence line at point D (Nat Grid Map Ref: 327520,130461) then from point D in a north north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 81 metres to the aforementioned point B. The width of the path will be a minimum of 2 metres, as shown on the order map.
