Temporary Closure of Franklin Close
and Footway between Speke Close and Bindon Road

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Frankin Close - from the outside the property numbered No 9 southwards for the entire Close for a distance of 79 metres; and Footway between Speke Close and Bindon Road for a total distance of 109 metres. This Order will enable Jurassic Fibre to carry out all necessary works to provide the service.

The Order becomes effective on 2nd June 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months for the temporary road closure and six months for the footway. The works are expected to commence on 6th June 2022 and last until 10th June 2022 between the hours of 08:00 - 17:00 for a total of 5 days.

b) because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the road, which is not attributable to such works.
