Somerset County Council District of Somerset West and Taunton Parish of Comeytrowe Temporary Closure of R1025/30 Cycle Path on Galmington Road And College Way, Taunton

Somerset County Council In exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all cycle traffic for the cycle path and traffic for the road closure from proceeding along: R1025/30 Cycle Path on Galmington Road - from the junction with College Way, westwards for 23 metres; and College Way - from the junction with Galmington Way, southwards for 100 metres for a total distance of 123 metres. This Order will enable Jurassic Fibre Ltd to carry out overlay and installation works. The Order becomes effective on 23rd June 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months (six months for the cycle path). The works are expected to commence on 27th June 2022 and last until 29th June 2022 between the hours of 18:30-06:30 for a total of 2 nights. Please visit
