SOMERSET COUNTY COUNCIL (CHEDDON ROAD. TAUNTON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF MOTOR VEHICLES) ORDER 2019 (THE HESTERCOMBE HUMDINGER)
Notice is hereby given that Somerset County Council intends to make an order in pursuance of the provisions of Section 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of motor vehicles as detailed in the schedule below. The Order will be made to facilitate the Hestercombe Humdinger and Hurtle Road Run and is in the interest of public safety. All closures will be signed and staffed and will remain in force only for as long as is necessary.
The Order shall come into operation at 1030 hours and will continue in force until 1145 hours on the 10* February 2018.
Exemptions are provided in the Order for emergency vehicles, residents requiring access and egress to Pyrland Fields and any vehicles associated with the event.
