Somerset County Council District of Taunton Deane Parish of Orchard Portman & Thurlbear Temporary Closure of Staple Fitzpaine Road
TAKE NOTICE that in pursuance of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the County Council of Somerset have made an Order PROHIBITING ALL TRAFFIC from proceeding along Staple Fitzpaine Road from the junction with Frost Street, northwards for a distance of 240 metres. This order will enable Utility Services Ltd to carry out poling works on behalf of BT Openreach. The Order becomes effective on 02 May 2019 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to last for 3 days (09:30-15:30) excluding the weekend. Please visit www.roadworks.org for further information on the alternative route.
