Notice ID: BOU1138887Somerset County Council (Various Roads, Taunton) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicles) (Special Events) Order 2019 (Taunton Ciderthon) Notice Is hereby given that on 26th day of April 2019 Somerset County Council made the above order, Order in exercise of the provisions of Section 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as previously advertised on the IS"1 April 2019, to introduce a temporary prohibition of vehicles in the road specified in Schedule to this Order. The Order comes into effect on the 2nd day of May 2019 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The Order will be made to facilitate the Taunton Ciderthon and is in the interest of public safety. All closures will be signed and staffed and will remain in force only for as long as is necessary. The Order shall come into operation at 1030 hours on Sunday 5th May 2019 and will continue in force until 1600 hours on Sunday 5* May 2019. Exemptions are provided in the Order for emergency vehicles, residents requiring access and egress to Location and any vehicles associated with the event.
