Somerset County Council District of Taunton Deane Parishes of Wiveliscombe & Milverton Temporary Prohibition of Vehicles

Notice is hereby given that on Friday 26th April 2019 Somerset County Council made the above order In exercise of its powers in the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as previously advertised on the 18th April 2019 to Introduce a temporary prohibition of vehicles In the roads specified In Schedule to this Order. The Order comes into effect on the 2nd day of May 2019 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The restrictions will apply when indicated by traffic signs.

Schedule Temporary Prohibition of Vehicles Blackwater Lane, Wilveliscombe - From its junction with Whitefield Road to its junction with Langley Marsh Road, a distance of 1100 metres. The proposed date of the closure is 61" May 2019 for 12 days

Quaking House Lane, Milverton - For its entire length. The proposed date of the closure is 8<h May 2019 for 12 days

This order will enable Gigaclear to carry out a rolling programme of underground cabling works with clearing of potential duct (pipe) blockages in this road.

a) Because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road; or



b) because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the road, which is not attributable to such works.
