A brand-new Young Farmers Festival will launch on 2 May this year in Warwickshire.

The inaugural four-day event, which is the first of its kind, will include a unique world record attempt for the furthest throw of a hay bale, multiple competitions and headline DJ sets from BBC Radio 1’s Greg James, Scott Mills and Chris Stark.

With cash prizes and rugby premiership final tickets up for grabs, the festival aims to bring young farmers and rural communities together for a fun-filled weekend in the British countryside.

An agricultural take on popular TV shows, such as ‘Farming’s Take Me Out’, ‘Farming’s Got Talent’ and ‘Farmers Apprentice’ will see visitors compete for dates and recognition of talent in entertainment and business.

By the afternoon, beer goggles will replace sunglasses as the bar opens and the music starts. Festival-goers can dance the night away, meet old friends and make new memories while celebrating all things farming.

The Young Farmers Festival 2019 will take place 2 to 5 May at Offchurch Bury Estate, Leamington Spa.
