The coastline in the south west of England stretches from north Somerset, through Exmoor and north Devon, around Cornwall, back through south Devon and into Dorset.
How many farms are ever offered for sale that have the sea as a backdrop in the West Country? The answer is not many, but Stags have recently launched a small farm in just such a location.
North Warcombe Farm is positioned above the quiet and picturesque village of Lee and overlooks the craggy Lee Bay on the north Devon coast, one of the prettier and less well know areas on this stretch of coastline and all the better for it. The farm has uninterrupted views to the sea, with Lundy Island visible on a clear day and includes 44 acres in total.
The farm was established in 1981 and has been within the same ownership for the past 28 years with the current owners rearing cattle on the coastal grass land. The farmhouse has four bedrooms and was constructed to take advantage of the views and also included are a range of farm buildings for livestock, machinery and fodder storage which are surrounded by pasture land which has a south and west aspect.

North Warcombe Farm is offered for sale as a whole with a guide price of £950,000. Andrew Dodds of Stags Farm Agency is handling the sale and commented ‘the views from North Warcombe Farm are simply stunning and whilst the north Devon coast is becoming increasingly popular, Lee Bay remains relatively unknown and is less busy as a result.’
