FIRE crews in Dorset were called out to deal with a horse stuck in mud.
However, the horse managed to free itself with the help of other horses, according to the rescue service.
A spokesman for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "One fire crew from Dorchester and a specialist Animal Rescue team from Poole have attended reports of a horse stuck in mud in Charminster.
"Upon their arrival thankfully the horse self-released with the assistance of some fellow horses in the field! - No action was required from DWFRS."
