A sale crammed with collectables, amongst another good entry of commercial vehicles took place on Saturday, November 23 at Stags West Country Sales Centre at Willand near Cullompton.

Top price of the day was seen for a 2009 Citroen Berlingo 600 HDI LX75 2WD Van which reached £960 with only a short MOT.

Next came a Hydraulic Log Splitter which sold for £800 to a purchaser who travelled from Gloucester.

Other commercial vans entered into the sale realised £550 for a Fiat Van with short MOT and £200 for a Citroen Berlingo with no MOT.

Although the top prices were seen for vehicles the most fiercely contested items were among those sold indoors with the dispersal of horse drawn ploughs and more than 250 lots of collectables, vintage items and saddlery equipment removed from Buckfastleigh which attracted interest from far and wide.

A number of items have already been dropped into the Sales Centre which will be offered through Stags’ Online Timed Auction running from Thursday, 5 December – Sunday, December 15.

The next general collective sale by public auction scheduled at the West Country Sales Centre is for Saturday, January 25 with early entries encouraged and invited.
