A new Christmas lights feature in Coverack, Cornwall pays tribute to a farmer who has contributed to village life for many years.
The tractor-shaped light recognises the work of Ben Roskilly, who has been heavily involved with the Coverack Christmas lights team for decades.
It is now part of the village lights display that was switched on at Coverack Christmas Tree Night on Saturday, when children from Coverack School processed down the hill with handmade lanterns to sing carols.
Alec Foreman, one of the original Christmas Tree Committee members around 50 years ago, then switched on the lights of the tree donated by Michael Tylor.
Afterwards, Father Christmas arrived in his pony drawn sleigh, to give a present to every child, Illumination Brass Band played carols and a team of volunteers worked hard providing hot beef sandwiches and hot dogs.
A lights committee spokesperson said: "Thanks to all those who supported on the evening donating, buying raffle tickets and enjoying a lovely community atmosphere.
"There were also fundraising events earlier in the year put on by The Bay Hotel, The Paris and The Lifeboat House. All support is very much appreciated and goes towards the annual upkeep of Coverack Christmas lights as well as supporting children in the area and providing a gift on the night for every child."
Coverack Christmas Lights will remain on until January 6.
