Top price per kilo was 200p for a Limousin x from Mr. R.E. Richards of St. Keverne purchased by Chris Dale of Dales Family Butchers, Helston; with a heavier 543kg Limousin x from the same farm topping the heifers at 190p/kg to R.J. Trevarthen Ltd of Roskrow.
Top value at £1,313 was a 742kg South Devon x steer from Rosemary Hocking of Messrs. G.B. Hocking & Son, St. Buryan bought by David King of Exeter.

Another firm trade for over 200 store cattle sold to plenty of demand from buyers spaced around the ring.
A super run of eight Charolais x steers from Messrs. J. & S. Trembath of Zennor saw their oldest 2 year old pair hit £1,090 with a younger 20 month old bunch of four at £1,020.
A smart Simmental x 18 month old steer pair from Mr. I. Norman of Lanteglos-by-Fowey sold well to £945 with same age Limousin x steers to £915 for Messrs. R.G. & J.M. Prowse of St. Allen.
Also at this age were a good batch of ten British Blue x steers from Mr. D.P. Udy of Victoria selling to £845 for half of them.
Top price on the heifer side were a pair of 21 month old Aberdeen Angus crosses from Mr. J.M. Curnow of Troon.
Good prices again for the younger cattle with a nice run of Limousin x yearlings from Mr. G.T. Stone of Breage including a standout single steer making £740.
Several entries of smart young heifers topping at £660 for Mr. K.R. Williams with a Limousin-sired pair.
