A fire broke out at Alder Hills nature reserve yesterday evening.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service sent crews out after the fire was reported at 6.37pm.
Six emergency calls were made in relation to the fire by members of the public.
An area of heath measuring eight metres by eight metres was involved.

Three fire engines attended along with a Land Rover.
Crews from Redhill Park, Springbourne and Poole also attended.
The fire was extinguished using one hose reel and one main line.
The incident was dealt with by 7.19pm.
