An excellent entry of well over 200 head on offer this week with many younger cattle forward but trade remains ‘on fire’ with more buyers in attendance. A fine consignment of Limousin stores forward from Messrs. R.G., E.J. & J.A. Williams of St. Martin saw a pair of fleshy 21mth old steers top the store section at £1,270. A super entry of young, well-grown cattle from Messrs. M.C. Bone & Son of Madron included a single shapely British Blue x topping the heifers at £1,190.
