Startling photos of a crash involving a tractor and a car in North Devon last week have been shared by fire crews.
The crash on Acland Road in Landkey on April 22 resulted in an elderly man being trapped inside his car.
The car was wedged between the bank and the tractor, but it was stable, so the man was helped to safety by a crew from Barnstaple Fire Station.
That afternoon a spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: "All persons free and clear of the vehicle with minor injuries only. The casualty was treated on scene by South Western Ambulance Service."
The fire service shared these photos from last week's accident today to remind drivers that there are more tractors and large agricultural vehicles on the road at the moment, in part to the silaging season getting underway.
They said: "As you may have noticed this time of year is extremely active for our farmers and there are a large number of big agricultural vehicles on the road.
"As we all start to venture out again with restrictions easing please bear this in mind and drive safely."
