A BUMPER crowd is expected for Greenslade Taylor Hunt’s next general sale at Sedgemoor Auction Centre, Junction 24, on Thursday, November 16, as it will coincide with a large machinery sale at the same venue.
Around 600 lots are likely at the general sale, while 300 items are anticipated for the agricultural sale, which will include tractors, machinery and horticultural equipment. Both sales commence at 10.30am.
Items for the general sale, which is now in its third successful year, can be dropped off between 9am and 3pm on Wednesday, November 15, at the auction centre.
There will be a number of appealing items that could provide thoughtful Christmas presents at keen prices including a selection of Winnie The Pooh illustrations and a cuddly Merrythought Bear kitted out in a Beefeater costume.
There is much to appeal to the salegoer – and seller. There is a selling rate of 95%, which is great news for sellers, while everything is sold without reserve, meaning a great opportunity for buyers to bag a bargain. The site is easily accessible off the M5 and there is plenty of free on site parking.
A free catalogue of sale lots will be available on the morning of the sale. Items can be viewed from 9am-10.30am.
Contact Mike Hooper, the sales co-ordinator, for details. He can be reached on 01823-332525.
