If your budget is a little more generous then a late Victorian silver easel back dressing table mirrorby Gibson & Langman, London, might fit the bill. The heart shaped bevelled mirror within a pierced and embossed rococo style frame with trellis, masks, birds and foliage, monogrammed cartouche,
standing 33cm high. It has a guide price of £250-£300.
Nearly 500 lots will come under the hammer at today’s sale, which gets underway at 10am. It will be followed at 3.30pm by a specialist sale of 41 works by Expressionist artist Ernest Neuschul.
