THE award winning team of @2K Theatre is back by popular demand this May in Somerset as they bring much laughter from screen to stage in their latest offering ‘The Vicar of Dibley’ at halls and theatres across the county.

Meet the residents of the village as, after the sudden loss of The Rev Pottle, they welcome their new Vicar, not the bloke with ‘a beard, Bible and bad breath’ as they were expecting, but ‘a babe with a bob cut and a magnificent bosom’….Geraldine Granger.

Mrs Cropley provides the anchovy and peanut butter sandwiches as, David Horton, accompanied by his hapless son Hugo, Alice the Verger and Owen the farmer sit around the Village Hall meeting table with Jim ‘no, no, no, no, yes!’ Trott.

All stalwart members of the Dibley Parish Council working haphazardly together making important village decisions, ably and slowly aided by Frank Pickle taking the minutes.

How will St Barnabus’ Church manage the changes?

Will Alice and Hugo declare their love for one another?

The Vicar and Dibley villagers will be touring venues across the county.

Opening night is on Thursday, May 4, at Stogumber and then services at Hatch Beauchamp.
