Taunton’s Farmers’ Market

THE Vale is a genuine Farmer and Producers co-operative which has grown from strength to strength since its launch in 1999. We are fully certified by FARMA – the National Farmers’ Retail & Markets Association, so you can be confident you are really buying local produce.

It all takes place in Taunton High Street, every Thursday from 9am until 3pm, year round.

Shakespeare Schools Festival 2017

A SERIES of unique Shakespeare productions staged by your schools.

Whether you are a parent, friend or another local school, we invite you to an exhilarating evening of theatre where you will see Shakespeare’s stories brought to life like never before.

In the celebratory finale of their Festival journey, 30,000 young people from primary, secondary and special schools across the country will unite in their local professional theatre in thrilling performance evenings. It promises to be the most exciting Festival yet!

Life Drawing

DEVELOP your drawing skills with an experienced teacher in a creative, supportive and innovative environment.

You will be introduced to an extensive range of techniques, observational nuances and methods and materials in this Friday afternoon Life Drawing class.

Suitable for all abilities.

The life drawing classes run until November 24.

They take place 1pm - 4pm Monday - Sunday.

TAUNTON Christmas Market will be in the High street from November 11 until January 7 There will be hot food stalls, craft stalls and fabulous gift ideas.

Somerset Christmas Door Wreath Workshop

MAKE a gorgeous, seasonal door wreath incorporating all the festive foliages such as scented pines and glossy ivy, given a Somerset twist with the addition of apples.

Led by Jane Cowling of Taunton based, Eden Flowers, you can join us to make a gorgeous, seasonal door wreath incorporating all the festive foliages such as scented pines and glossy ivy, with an added ‘Somerset’ twist with the addition of seasonal winter apples!

All materials are included in the ticket price along with expert tuition in a small group and refreshments.

Eden are a small team of very talented Florists who have accolades such as Gold Medals at Chelsea Flower Show and widespread success in other national and international competitions. This fun and festive morning workshop is likely to be very popular so early booking is strongly recommended.

Tai Chi

The event at the Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre, School Road, Monkton Heathfield, Taunton runs until Monday, November 27.

Taunton Rock Show Chorus runs until November 29.
