TAUNTON Thespians will be treading the boards at the Brewhouse in ‘Oh What a Lovely War’.
Stand aside General Kitchener: Martine Davies has a cunning plan to attract new recruits for the trenches in the Taunton Thespians’ production of Joan Littlewood’s World War One musical entertainment from Tuesday, November 6 to Sunday, November 11.
Martine, who won a Somerset Fellowship of Drama Phoebe Rees Award for her performance in the Thespians summer tour and is delighted to join thirty other Thespians in this highly entertaining and thought provoking mix of jokes, music hall sketches, drama and jaunty wartime songs.
The men and women of the Thespians are honoured to mark the one hundredth anniversary of the end of the First World War with this highly entertaining and thought provoking mix of jokes, music hall sketches, drama and jaunty wartime songs.
Tickets on November 6, cost £14 and £5 (concessions). All other performances £17.50 and £10 (cons).

The Thespians are supporting SSAFA, the UK’s oldest Armed Forces charity and there will be an collection for SSAFA after every show. This is the final show of the Taunton Thespians’ 90th Season.
