IT'S only rock 'n' roll and Palooka 5 love it, love it, yes they do.
The Taunton ‘surf rock’ band have not only launched their latest vinyl LP but days afterwards it was played on BBC Radio 6.
Last Saturday, June 2, they sold out The Creative Innovation Centre in Taunton with the launch of their vinyl mini LP ‘Rough Magic’.
Their lastest recording is released on 'Fuelled By Cider Records' and is on sale at local independent record shops plus CD and digital download.
120 sweaty souls danced their way through stonking hour set.
Then on Tuesday, June 5, they received air play on BBC Radio 6 Music. DJ Gideon Coe introduced the title track from the debut LP early in his 9pm to midnight show. (see link below).
Palooka 5 frontman Tim Baigent said “We’ve been together about three years and the past week has been amamzing for us.
"Loads of great press and feed back. Playing a great show on Saturday and then BBC 6 airtime has been amazing”.
Catch Palooka 5 at many festivals this summer - inc their next local one BroadCider Nr Ilminster on Saturday, July 14.
