AN evening of musical conversations jazz, blues and a little rock & roll will burst out at Queen’s College next month.

Johnny Mars and Chris Jagger will take to the stage at Queen’s for one night prior to next year’s Musical Conversations Tour.

One of the world’s leading harmonica players, Johnny Mars, was born in the Southern States where he was surrounded by music from a young age. He moved to the UK in 1972 where he made his first European album. He has played with top musicians from BB King to Bananarama and recently with the Northern European Jazz Orchestra.

Chris Jagger first recorded during the 1970’s in Los Angles. He has worked with a range of musicians including David Gilmour (Pink Floyd), Dave Stewart (Eurythmics), Leo Sayer and, his brother, Mick Jagger.

Takes place at 7.45pm on December 12. Tickets: Adults £25 or £22, students £15.
