A dynamite double bill of music is being promised at Club Kongo.
This new themed night hold it’s 6th ‘Surf Garage Night’ on Saturday, December 1, at Creative Innovation Centre, Taunton.
This highly successful night gives punters an explosive night featuring 2 live acts, a vintage vinyl DJ plus freak out films and visuals.
The dynamite double bill on Saturday are The Hawkmen and Palooka 5.
For Bristol’s 5 piece rockabilly, soul outfit The Hawkmen this is the final date of their European / UK tour to promote their single ‘Soulful Dress’. The single on Greystone Records has been played widely played on BBC Radio 2 and Radio 6 Music and has been part of the recent Craig Charles Funk and Soul Club dates. Making a cracking double bill will Palooka 5 who will bring their surf garage. Playing raw originals in a 1960’s surf garage style.
