TAUNTON Sinfonietta is busy preparing for the final concert of their 2014 season – due to take place at St James’ Church this month.
In Celebration contains dances and concerti, including Vivaldi’s lovely concerto for solo violin and cello and Corelli’s well-known Christmas Concerto to get you in the mood.
Respighi's Ancient Dances and Airs are not often performed, but are described as ‘stately and breezy’ – an experience to look forward to – as well as Vaughan Williams’ Variations on Dives and Lazarus.
The performance starts at 3pm on Sunday 23rd November and tickets will be available on the door, or from the Tourist Information Centre, Taunton.
