A SINGER with a “honey-dripping voice” will be joined by one of the world’s most renowned mandolinists for a concert at Halsway Manor, near Crowcombe, on Saturday (January 17).
Vocalist Hilary James and mandolinist Simon Mayor have performed at venues across the globe, from the Vancouver Folk Festival to the Rudoldstat World Music Festival in Germany.
With a repertoire easily crossing from traditional ballads to blues, Berlioz, classical mandolin show-stoppers and some of their own notorious comic songs, this promises to be a hugely entertaining stage show packed full of dry humour.
The show starts at 8pm – to book, phone Viv Butler on 01984-618274, email office@halswaymanor.org.uk or click here.
