IF you like great music and supporting a great cause, then the place to be next week is Taunton Rugby Club.
That's when Mad Dog Mcrea are headlining a gig for the Taunton Association for the Homeless.
The band are known for their folk-rock, gypsy-jazz, blue grass music loved by fans across the south west.
The event is being sponsored by JP Gainsford Associates and Wessex Water, with every penny raised going to help those at risk of homelessness or those who have become homeless.
Rosie Hather from TAH said: "It’s going to be a fantastic and fun evening of live music and socialising and at the same time will be raising valuable funds.
"With funding cuts on the horizon, it is very important for the charity to raise money through other means, such as events like this. We hope to see as many people there are possible.”
Thursday, October 15. Tickets cost £10 and can be purchased at the Taunton Visitor Centre, Black Cat Records or online at www.wegottickets.com.
